The Robotic Arm, a knock-off of the NASA device used on the space shuttle. Made mainly of styrofoam and balsa, this project's components cost about $50.00. The arm has been an invaluable teaching tool. The Robotic Arm was used in the simulated Space Shuttle missions at Kealing Junior High, in Austin, TX. The students used the arm via a video link from mission control to pick up various objects in their experiments.
