Thanks for all the feedback on patent lawyers .I am making good headway on the project and will hopefully be able to do a demo for the group by the end of the month .Any volunteers out there with artery blockage?Just kiddingI got a cow heart from HEB and went by the warehouse to get my lipstick cam off of the arm so I can do a mock-up endoscopic test .Fortunatly I have plenty of chest molds to make it as real as possable .I'll keep everyone posted .
I also want to thank Liz Carrasco from Jezabel ( 2208 South Lamar ) for buying a big batch of the robo penadants .Go by and check out her store .
And...The cool folks at Ray Hennig's Heart of Texas Music for donating some guitar strings for the project .After going through their collection to find the best size for a flexable rotory shaft option ,they liked the idea so much that they just gave them to me .The metal bra web site goes a long way to .
Earlier in the day I stopped at Westbrook Metals to get some scraps of different thicknesses and it's allways fun to see the looks on the other customer's faces when I come in .I've been shopping there for about 20 years now and everybody there knows my name .It's allways like ...Hey ,it's Brooks the robot metal bra guy .How's it going ? They allways give me some sort of discount just for being weird .Back when I built the first Kealing robot arm they gave me an entier sheet of steel as a sponser .Cool guys .Check 'em out if you need metal .658 Canion Street .(512) 453-6044
