Robotics Lab Tour

For November we will be trying something a little different. On Thursday Nov. 20 we will tour the Robotics and Automation Lab at the ACC Riverside campus. The guest speaker will be Hector Aguilar, program chair for the Robotics & Automation and the Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology programs at Austin Community College. Mr. Aguilar will speak on Robotics at ACC and give us a tour of the facilities.

We can either meet at the warehouse at 7:30pm and then we will caravan over to Riverside. Or feel free to meet us at the campus between 7:45-8:00pm.

Directions to ACC Riverside Campus, 1020 Grove Blvd.: From the RG warehouse, head north on I35. Take the Riverside Drive exit and turn right (East) on Riverside Drive. Grove Boulevard is about 2.5 miles from I35. After you pass the red light at S. Pleasant Valley Rd. (Taco Cabana & HEB), Grove Blvd. will be the 3rd red light. Turn left (North) on Grove. The campus is about a mile down the road on the left. Turn left at the first entrance. Watch for the Squires building on your right (the building name is on the side of the building facing the drive). We will meet in the lobby of the Squires Building (Building S) between 7:45 and 8:00 pm. Stay tuned for information on parking.
